The Optra W810s consists of a W810DN duplex, monochrome laser printer paired with an OptraImage 725 SCSI, monochrome, duplex scanner to provide integrated A3/A4 scan, fax, copy and print facilities. The new price of the scanner alone, part no. 14B5355 was $11,800. The scanner is equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF) and is connected by a SCSI cable to a special print server (Marknet N2501e) that can be mounted in one of the expansion slots of any Lexmark Optra W810DN laser printer. The special print server combines 10/100 Ethernet, SCSI outlet to connect to the scanner, and fax modem in one card.
The ADF equipped duplex scanner can scan both sides of your original sheets simultaneously. It is very quick and easy to print a double-sided copy of any A3/A4 double-sided original. Printer output is 33ppm A4 simplex and 20ppm A4 duplex. The scanner is mounted on a metal frame that enables it to sit directly above the printer.
