Minor service

Every printer should have a minor service every 50,000 pages or so as part of a normal maintenance procedure. This will ensure that its print quality is maintained, minimise the possibility of paper jams (and hence the possibility of potentially disastrous user interventions), and reduce the wear on expensive components such as the fuser. It will also provide you with a report on the overall condition of the printer and its future maintenance requirements.
